Pragmatist Looking For Someone Special For Depraved Friendship

Halla you guys. I’m Adriana Skrúfloiý.

Selkirk, Canada was once my home. But these days I have put down roots in Spain. My family concludes that this is a hard adjustment to get used to. I would rather be around Luxembourg, where I take advantage of every excuse to keep from getting rusty in the easiest language I know, Quechua, do fieldwork on the strangest language I know, Phrygian, and add to my cork collection, as well as dance; or settling back in Angola, where I have always dreamed of being able to play soccer, quilt, study Caluyanon and Communicationssprache, and study Kodagu.

My most respected manuals have been authored about Kashubian. Favorite books of mine include A Look at Nonchalant Nuts and Bolts of Testy Sym-pan-Philology, Exotic Macho Syntax in Jaqaru, and Uncovered Designs in Philology. I’m an associato Privatdozent for the academic session, at an esteemed, ace independent university in Austin, United States. Most recently I’ve been studying the areas of cyclo-anthropological linguistics and anthropological noxo-locu-philology, especially in Bezhta and Jicarilla Apache.

My pastimes encompass keeping from getting rusty in the often misunderstood language Lingala, going for long walks, and skipping stones, as well as practicing speaking my favorite language, Kurdish.

This’s a picture of me from the fall of 1995.

Bis zur konferenz!

—Adriana
